thought about doing the badge on the grill when i 1st got the car in january cos i'd never seen it done before but now i have n it looks good but dunno if i wanna copy someone elses idea...... still contemplating just debadging

ive already carboned it ages ago

just liked how much the red paint stood out on the black car .

gonna get my roof, spoiler, wing mirrors & splitter done then once i have the cash get a carbon fibre bonnet. was also thinking about getting the badge on the grill done but unsure if i just wanna fit a badgeless one

That's quite a lot! Your gonna be carbon'd oot yer nut!

Think you should wrap your badge, think the badge-less grills are very plain.

Oh I'm originally from Ayr, thought you might have been closer.

Far to much fake carbon , the bonnet will look **** seen it before on a leon and a new sirocco
as real as they make fake carbon look it still looks fake has no shine or 3d effect real carbon has small bits look good ,

As for the front S badge honey comb it

the carbon fibre bonnet is being done for lightweight purposes
the car is being stripped of all non essentials as its going to be track orientated as i'm on the look for a cheap diesel runabout to get to work n back

You on about a real carbon bonnet ? I thought you ment wrapped in vinyl lol if it's real the. That's cool it will look **** hot don't paint it , just the vinyl wrap looks crap in big areas

lol, yes a REAL one

found one for 520 which is not too bad considering i was expecting to pay around 700
was only considering painting it to keep the car looking semi OEM

think i'll defo wrap the mirrors and the badge if i don't get a honeycomb one, had seen that on ebay when i was having a nosey

Mirrors will be a pin in the bum! I want to do it but can see myself wasting a lot of vinyl...

S badge is easy and the way it slots back into the grill makes it looks very tidy

thats what i was thinking...... hence why i was a bit when you said that the leon and rocco you seen with the bonnet looked **** lol

the mirrors do look like a pain, hence why i was gonna see my mate about doing it

V hard to find and cost about £80 though.

There were some on the German Ebay but I was too skint at the time....still am lol.
