Carbon fibre or Matte black bonnet & roof?

I want to do something to make my cupra R stand out from the rest. Its black, soon to have black wheels and thinking of vinyl wrapping the bonnet, roof and spoiler maybe matt black or carbon fibre.

Thoughts....

I considered matt black stripes over bonnet qmd roof but people said no dont do it?

If I had a black leon again I would do some bright wheels (orange etc), that way it would stand out without having to change the bodywork

(to offer my opinion i think carbon over matte)

I was debaiting vinyl wrapping my roof in matt black to be different but im now thinking wrapping the whole car in white i would say matt black over carbon fibre as small areas like the badges dont look too bad in carbon its the larger areas that let the vinyl down as its not really the same as the real thing.

Personally I'd go for matt black over carbon, I like carbon detailing but not full panels.

Then again, why were you put off stripes? I like the look of the stripes used on the KITT car Shelby;

I'm not sure how they'd look on a Leon but they're still nice.

If you go foe carbon bonnet it will peel the laquer from the panel when removing, you possible will have this issue with stripes too!, i work with vinyl and carbon material everyday.

I'm changing to matte black bits now so matte black gets my vote

Thanks all for your input, my thoughts are large areas of carbon fibre are less likily to actually be carbon fibre so i can be a bit too fake. However carbon fibre wrapped panels do draw up a croud on the plus side. I did some photoshop of two passenger side black stripes over my leon and i liked however friends suggested "racing stripes" easily drop u into the "boy racer" category. But i did quite like. Not too sure if big matt black panels will look as good as it sound. Going gloss/matt white is tempting but think i would prefere the black on black leon. Forntge more stealty look. Plus white will look filthy in no time.

Never ever that carbon vinyl it looks **** real carbon only
