I Spent today about 2 hours with cheap 10 pound carbon vinyl and went at the part in the door that people buy in ALU from the dealers and i also atacked my B Pillars .
Now considering im no artist theys turned out great! Cheap and easy mod and a bit diffrent i think. Im planning to try a few more items with the vinyl but i have ran out for now. So any idea's on what i can vinyl next would be great.
I will post pictures tomorrow since it is now far too dark and you guys can tell me what you think.

Yes i took the trims off and wraped it all around. Theys pictures do no justice it look 100 percent better in real life!. When the cars clean and the suns out i will get some good pictures . The S And mirrors should be next . Ill keep this thread and my RR updated.

Nice work there Alex, you down tomorrow night so i can have a butchers?

How did you find the vinyl sticks to the door pillars? I was going to do mine with my gloss black vinyl, but wasnt sure if it would stick well due to the bumpy plastic.

Great job with the vinyl, its hard stuff to work with, ive used it on my badges and front bumper (cupra style) And even did my roof, but wasnt happy with my edges, so removed it!

The main thing is to make sure the surface is very clean, any grit woll show through the vinyl, Clean the surface with an alcohol based cleaner.
On larger ares it helps to mist the surface with water, this will stop the vinyl sticking till it's in the right place, then you just squeege it out.
Textured surface's can be a pain as you have to press the vinyl into the surface, you need to get rid of all the air bubbles otherwise they will expand and eventually pell off.
Warming the surface with a hair drier will help to get rid of small airbubble's and it will also let the vinyl stretch to do more difficult shapes like mirror covers.

Here's a few bit's that I'v done
