Model Year 23/24 Carista battery registration

Has anyone used the Carista EVO OBD scanner to change the battery registration for a new battery which is protected by the SFD gateway if so is it easy to complete I need a new battery and have been given a Carista EVO but not sure I want to attempt it!

Never used Carista, only ever used OBDeleven with SFD unlock function or the factory tooling to code batteries.

You can't cause any damage coding in the values of a new battery to the gateway.

Next question has anyone had a battery fitted @ Halfords they do their own brand with a 5 year warranty that looks suspiciously like the Yuasa battery with the same spec` they also fit and change the battery registration as well.

Halfords tell me that they cannot change the Cupra battery registration detail as they don`t have the equipment!
