Just wanted to give a heads up regarding the service i received from Carsmetic NI in Belfast.
I kerbed an o/s rear 18" performance alloy after being pushed by another car onto the kerbing of a roundabout due to their"straight through" line. I normally use Alloy Wheel Repairs NI, but as it was the week before Christmas they were closed. As i couldn't look at the wheel( we've all been there) i left it in with Carsmetic NI for a full face repair. When i came to pick the car up it was just a case of " there's your keys " and no-one came to the car with me. Seat height was up as high as it would go and left full forward, dusty interior, mirrors all moved ,radio settings changed and the subwoofer in the wheel well left disconnected. The repair looked ok....For 2 weeks then started peeling off all over the wheel.
The response was " that happens sometimes". It's never happened anywhere else. I was able to get a full refund as i declined the offer to repair it again as i just felt it was going be the same shoddy job again. Got it repaired where i should have went in the first place.
Sorry if I've rambled a bit but they should be avoided as the customer service is rubbish. I paid cash and was left waiting 3 weeks for a cheque in the post.
