Over the last few weeks my central locking and hazard lights have been going off more and more when i have been driving. Initally I thought the issue was the car excellerating after 10 mph the central locking was kickingin, as it was only happening then. Though now the problem is happening constantly at any speed and continuously. Please update on forum if you have suffered any of the problems......:confused:03 plate seat leon 1.9tdi (110)

On top of all this this initially after central locking the car and parking it, i returned a few hours later with all of my windows scrolled down?????any ideas anyone

mine just locks down when it feels like it , did have the anti car jack thing fitted but had it taken off as i thought that was causing the problem but its still the same ..... also its a mare to open with the remote have to press the button about 3 times for it to open ( have tried all the stuff about re programming the key etc) but to no avail

just take the door panel off mate and ul find it...got the electrics going to it on the door motor....its part of that basically as all the central locking feed and interior light feed runs through it...

Had this exact fault and was repaired by supplying garage about 3 months ago. Was a thread on it at the time if you search.

It is water ingress into the locking mechanism which is shorting out the far right position of the lock - this unlocks the doors and, if held, opens the windows. It showed up on the error codes as something strange - 'comfort' mode malfunction or something.

Could probably reseal but they replaced mine at about £80 parts - under warranty so dont have receipt sorry.

thanks for the info.....i have put the car in the garage and they have run diagnoistics check and its fine. Though they are taking the car out for a drive for them to see what the gremlins do...( as obviously it didnt happen when we checked it)

Sounds about right :)

Mine was in for 10 days - first seven of which it refused to do what it was doing every 20 mins with me!

The garage said that it was the most likely of causes.the water is the most likely of causes in the door. we will wait and see.........
