Central locking not working (passenger door only)

i've noticed the last few days my passenger front door hasn't been closing and noticed today that when i lock it the hazards don't flash (they still do when i unlock it though). it won't lock with the remote, key or button inside the door. i've checked the 3 fuses that relate to central locking and it doesn't seem to be that, any ideas whats going on?

can you get it hooked up to VAG COM and scanned? im sure this would show where the locking fault lies

I reckon it'll be a problem with the door lock itself, and odds are it'll be one of the microswitches. Mine does the same thing occasionally, and those 'occasions' are getting more frequent.

Someone else had to fix theirs quite recently, I think it was on an Ibiza? Have a quick search through the forum and you might find the thread. It has a link to a very good how-to which explains what the problem is and how to fix it.
