Centre heat vents blow cold air out when going round a roundabout

Newbie here i have searched and havent came across anything so here i am asking the question, i have noticed when going round a round about with the heating on you can feel cold air coming out the centre vents around the radio, anyone had this before? Would you say its signs of the heater matrix blocking up? Car is a leon cupra 300 dsg

Had this in all 4 of the VW’s I’ve owned since 2002 before getting my latest VW. Not sure about the current one as I’ve only owned it just over a couple of months and I may just have got used to it, so not really noticed.

I’ve seen it discussed at various times over the years on some of the VW forums and other VW owners have also experienced it too.
