I Have been toying with the idea of a new turbo, I know of all the Allard VNT ranges and a little about what turbo dynamics offer. I now have found anouther from TD not the one in the racing caddy but a turbo that has produced more impressive results.

I wanting to know how this would compare with the VT5 from allards as they say the vt5 is rated to 300bhp.

250bhp without larger injectors is impressive.

285bhp with largers injectors is even more impressive.

But how much smoke??

Heres the link.......

An interesting read. Dont worry I would not be coughing up that amount for a new turbo. Waiting to see how the dervdoctor gets on with trying to achieve 300bhp. Have you a spec of your ibiza anywhere i could clance at?

My Seat Ibiza PD160 engine spec back in November 2005 was;
CDA airfilter
VT2 turbo
Propane injection
Allard remap
Milltek exhaust
EGR delete
Larger pipework going to and from the FMIC.
Was running a safe 245ish bhp but i could max out the turbo and propane to get 265ish bhp but the turbo probably wouldn`t last very long if drivern hard on that setting.
