Change brake fluid

Are there any tricks to changing the brake fluid? I think there are some vag-com tricks to reverse the rear brake pads to change those (maybe not on the Cupra with its manual handbrake?) and I think I also saw something about servicing the brake fluid?

Not sure about tricks but the accepted way to bleed most ABS brake systems is using a Vacuum bleeder.

For BMW/MINI brake fluid changes the official procedure is to plug the car into the diagnostics machine to open all the ABS valves in the valve block. This ensures that no air remains trapped in the valve block.

As a similar ABS mechanism is widely used by other manufacturers I wouldn't be surprised if they adopt a similar procedure.
