It makes the Dump Valve noise much louder but depends if you want to take the 'risk' so to speak, you could always get one and just make sure you look and clean the MAF every month but the choice is really yours
I have an 'open' filter on mine and i know loads of other peeps that have as well

The open cone allows hot air from the engine bay to be sucked in. Enclosing the filter and feeding cold air through a hose solves that problem. Cold air denser, more o2, more power etc etc
Jamie, if you want the biggest kick from any part go for the remap first - be it revo or whatever. Go get the 5hr free trial first, itll soon change your mind! The 007p isnt essential but the standard valve my break further down the line and cause issues.
The exhaust and intake aren't really essential and will mainly give you noise over performance on a standard ECU.
Jonzy said:I meant about cones letting in more dirt, not the air thing
I personally run the dyantwist covered but without the cold air feed. Seems to strangle the car on boost.
Jonzy said:Revo's SPS dingle dongle cant turn it on and off yes.
CupraTgirl: all filters let dirt in, but the whole open cone vs closed cone argument is purely based around inlet temps.
