Today the rear brake from a MQB EVO model was installed in a MQB Classic vehicle.

both vehicles have PR code 1KE.

everything fits, however the complete 1KE MQB EVO brake is required.

that means caliper and motor for the EPB, as well as pads and discs.

what I immediately noticed when driving, the EPB drive is much smoother, quieter and simply much more comfortable.

for me it is definitely an upgrade

Interesting feedback.
Presuming it also needed the caliper carrier (bracket) from the MQB EVO?
I believe the discs are the same 272x10 - so could be just new pads + caliper if your discs are in very good condition.

So, now we'll clear everything up. I had, of course, promised beforehand. The brake discs are the same, of course. But the brake plates are not. That's what I meant. A detailed parts list will follow later.
