had the mechanic man plug his thing into me car lastweek to diagnose me abs fault, was informed it was my rear offside abs sensor, so went and got one today brand new from GSF and fitted it, but the light is still on. does it need to be reset or should it go off automatically?

When i changed my front one, it just reset its self and went off.

try disconnecting the battery for 20minutes, if not will have to be re-set via vag-com or a hand held machine.

David.

driven it yet ? they usually cut off once driven

it was the 'ACTUAL' sensor faulty and not just the loom was it ?
