Changing Brakes - disc runout??

Im changing the discs on my LC (312mm)
I want to find out what the "disc runout" should be when fitting new discs to the front and rear. I want to ensure that they are seated correctly and squarely by measuring the "runout" i.e. the amount (in decimals of a mm or thousands of an inch) by which the disc can "wobble" when rotated. I can measure this with a dial gauge.

Anyone know this info?

I'd just throw them on, never had any trouble before, but then again never fitted brakes to a Seat (yet). Have you had them not fit properly before? As long as you clean up the hub with a wire brush or something I can't see you having any problems

it's screwed to the hub by a locating screw,then held in by wheel boltsX5.
so long as the faces are flush,not an amount worth worrying about.

Max runout is 0.1mm

Yeah suppose its a bit paranoid but may as well check everything whilst have the car in that state

while this is certainly thorough, its not usually required.
I would advise that you take a minute or two to ensure that the surfaces of the hub and diskus are clean and clear of any dirt or debris before you bolt the disk on.

just wire brush off the hub face and install the disk.
you wont get run out

got to change my disks in the new year... do you still put copper grease between the hub and disc?
