Hi!
so i have a seat ibiza mk5 6j pre-facelift

just wondering if id have any complications changing all my bulbs apart from headlights.sidelights and main beam to LED lights?

and if anyone has done this, what bulbs would be best to get? (type etc)

id appreciate any help thank you!

I just recently did this to my 2010 cupra, upgraded the dipped to HIDs and changed the sidelights to LEDs. The sidelights are T10/w5w/501 type - you can check all over ebay for these.

The only complication is making sure you get bulbs that won't trigger a dash error.
Although, having said that, this is exactly what I did yet I'm still getting the warning. Boo!

ah great, ive tried various 501 sidelights led but the ones with the best output of light (Crees) seem to flicker after a short period, i too have changed dipped to HIDS which are great, just need some sidelights to match really.

Then is it worth changing taillights and indicators too?

I'm using cree ones, with no flicker.

Don't forget you'll need four if you have twin headlamp!

As for the rear, I'm going to get a pair of these at some point:

i was thinking of buying the facelift tail lights? but does anyone know if having the bulb warning light will effect the lights themselves? like would it be ok to ignore the warning?

Yeah, it's just a warning. The only downside is when a bulb actually does go, you won't get a warning, so make sure to check your lights every now and then.
