Hi all,

I have just brought mu new car and I have changed the stereo to a Pioneer and everything went OK but when the ignition is turned off it loses all the settings!

I can't find any other cables but Its like its not getting a feed from the battery when the engine is off.

Am I being stupid and missing something obvious???

Thanks

 Try switching the switched and permanent 12V feed lines around. A quick search here will tell you would have told you that as well...

Most stereo's these days, definately Pioneers ones (as I have one) have the two power wires (red and yellow) on the harness bullet connected, just dis-connect them, and connect the red to yellow and yellow to red, sorted !!

They do it for this just reason, as some cars have the power feeds wired different.

Hope this helps.
