You should probably read the manual.

But my guess is that this is an option to limit the maximum power that the car pulls from the socket - maybe if you are using a home socket that does not provide a lot of amps.

The PHEV will be able to charge with a maximum of 3.5 kW (as mentioned by the manufacturer), more likely with about 3.0 kW - no-matter how powerful the charging station will be. However, if you select "Reduced charging current", it will charge at around 1 kW.

Super, what I know slower charging is always better for battery long run 💎
