But be warned, your hand will freeze to it in winter and have SEAT SPORT branded into it during the summer. I put up with this as it does look good!

I paid £50 for mine at the SEAT stand at the last BTCC meet of 2005.

I was quoted £90 at the dealer the other day! If you do buy one definately worth selling it on ebay when you sell your car!

cost 45all in from ted johnsons

its the Altea 6-speed version

I love the design and looks, but after having a metal topped Momo knob there is no chance I'd want another metal one! As somebody mentioned above, on freezing cold days you can't touch the gear knob for the first half an hour of your journey for fear of frost bite... and in the summer you can't touch it for fear of third degree burns!

£50 secondhand is still cheaper than new. The genuine LEON versions are £65+.

However, As mentioned above, the Altea ones are EXACTLY the same, but are cheaper on the SEAT system - so buying on of those saves you a few quid
