Cheapp Cables and Version 5 ??

I know the cheapo cables work with version 3 and 4, but does version 5 work with these cables ???

What is the difference between 409.1 Free Version and 409.1 Fully Activated/Registered Version ?

What extra options do u get ?

...additionally keep in mind that some functions even when registered may not be available in older versions such as acceleration measurement, selective output test, slave module coding, advanced measuring blocks. Also the fault code database in version 409 is obviously not as up to date as those in current versions.
