In front of a PC....
I was thinking of claying my car once the better weather comes along (not been done since I got the car in Sept) and was wondering what type of claybar I should use? I am not after anything too abrasive, just want something that will remove most of the contamination without too much bother.
I clayed a car once before so I know what is involved (lots of QD, making sure the claybar is warm etc) but not sure on what to use.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Alex

Megs or sonus green seems ot get the thumbs up. I've used Mothers clay bar before, yellow one and worked great, had enough for two goes at the car. Clayed, polished with SRP, Autoglym Extra Gloss sealant then normal turtle wax metalic (blue wax) worked very well for me, all done by hand. Someone will be along to tell you everything.

I bought the Megiurs kit, which had bar and spray and cloth, which worked well :)

Does anyone know the difference between the Detailing clay and the quick clay that Meguiars make ? Seems to be quite a difference in price but, do they give the same results ? I dont mind spending the time doing it properly but, if you can use the quick clay and get the work done in half the time it means more time in the pub.
