cleaning diesel injectors ??

Im knew to this site and have a 55 plate seat leon 1.9 tdi 130 SE, you guys got any tips on what type of cleaning fluids, for example Comma Diesel magic, to use? what works best? its done 86k and runs like a beaut!, i bought it in jan this year and done well over 10k since i ve had it, i had it serviced as soon as it bought it, and is due for another one, but i ve recently noticed some black smoke when im on the motorway and i boot it to overtake some slow ppl, lol.

I ve been told that these diesel cleaners can help?

forte diesel treatment is quite good.

depends if you have a problem really mate. my dads 330d beemer had an dodgy injector causing a intermitant misfire. put a bottle of this through it and problem sorted. only about £7 a bottle too.

I dont really have a problem mate, just that puff of black smoke that i get when i put my foot down! Other than that i just want to keep the engine clean and crisp, i ll buy a bottle of forte and see what happens i guess

Again, i ve heard of millers but i'm still unsure on what is best, do you guys regularly use millers?

I use the RedeX stuff every 2 months or so. Seems to do wonders. I'd just give it the italian tune up.

Stick in 3rd, hold it on the red line until the black smoke stops.... good to give the Turbo and EGR a good clear out!
