Clicking - heater system

I remember finding a couple threads about clicking, and it being an issue with re-circ part of the heaters.
When I looked at the car the blowers did not work at all and there was a clicking, they aparantly just oiled the fan and this rectified the fans not working and the clicking.
However the clicking has returned. Sure enough when I switch the re-circ on the clicking stops, but it still makes some other noises so i'm pretty sure there lies the problem.
But what is the problem and how do I fix it.
I cant find the thread that I found previously.
Hope you can help cheers.

Hello mate, just wanted to say I've got the same problem as you. Dual climate control and it clicks now and again.

I've given up in trying to make it stop so just turn the music up loud enough to not hear it anymore.

Ill follow this thread though for a fix

The clicking is the self correction of the dash servo motors.

You can carry out a self calibration to quieter them down but this isn't always a fix.

They can be very costly labour wise to replace though!
