Climate control controls in Kenwood head unit

Hi guys! I have a 2010 leon cupra with factory fitted climate control. The car had the kedwood unit sat nav as an optional extra, but since then the previous owner had the kenwood DNX521DAB u it professionally installed (looks that way as everything is really really neatly placed ie dab antena and mic etc etc) anyway, just happened to look at the book for this new head unit and it states that the climate control can be controlled using the head unit? Ive noticed from time to time when i press OFF on the climate control some times on the head unit screen, a climate control menu pops up but goes off before i get chance to press anything?

Any ideas guys??

With standard head unit the climate control is displayed briefly on the screen when making any adjustments. The time it is displayed for is adjustable in the set up menu on the HU.
Control of the cc unit was still via the controls above.
No idea bout the Kenwood unit, would imagine - if its possible- the display time for cc info would be in settings.

Since posting this ive looked into it more on of the kenwood/seat websites it states that there a black box you can buy to connect it all together, just nowhere sells this box thing. Even so, like you said to look at settings for it, but nothings there for settings? Really strange! Im not really fussed about it just if its able to work would be nice for it to work think ill have to get it touch with kenwood and see what they say!
