Climate Control default temp

Hi all

I have noticed recently that when I start my car the climate control defaults to 22 degrees and A/C. Over the last week I have had the temp set to Lo with just the fan, no A/C but when the car is next used it reverts back.

I have even sat it the car set it to 18, car off, ignition back on and it goes to 22. I tried this a number of times and the same thing.

Any ideas why this happens? I do know the A/C is crap and needs servicing but would not have thought this would cause an issue.

Bump for this my 2014 fr has just started doing the same. Anyone solved it?

My 63 plate fr did it, my 17 plate does the same. Dunno why?

Mine didn't but it does now, so surely there is a way to stop it? Auto isn't switched on.

Bump… did anyone crack this?

I set mine to blow on the windscreen and it "seems" to remember settings, only way I found it to kepp them. If I change it to anything else it doesn't remember. According to Seat it's a feature not a bug.

Outstanding feature. They should buy EA.
