Climate Control Faults in Vag Com

I have been playing with Vag Com and found I have these faults on these Control Modules

08 - AutoHVAC

00710 - defroster flap positioning motor (v107)
000 - - intermittent
01274 - air flow flap positioning motor (v71)
000 - - intermittent

09 Central Electrics
01598 - Drive Battery Voltage
07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent

Now the latter I suspect is due to the battery dying as when we had a couple of cooler mornings the other week, (5 degs C) the car coughed into live rather than its usual lively self. So I know that I need to get that done. Battery has never been off the car and the car is used on the motorway 40+ miles every other day so short journeys is not a issue.

The first ones I am concerned about as I had them cleared at E38 and they have reappeared. Is it a case that I need to have a look at these or could it be related to the battery fault? Only prior to starting engine most days and while I was performing test today, all you could hear were the climate control motors in the passenger footwell whirring away.

Car is a Mk4 ibiza 1.9 TDi SE 2003 (03)

I don't think the 1st ones are related to the bettery dying. There are servos under there that open and shut the flow of air etc.

It sounds like there is a loose connection or the motors aren't closing the flaps properly or hitting the "Closed" Switch, as confirmation.....something like that.

Have a check of the connectors and the motor as these could be faulty or the motor could be blocked or obstucted.

No sure yet. I changed the battery on the car Tuesday and when I ran Vag com to clear any remaining faults I only had this showing on the system.
00710 - defroster flap positioning motor (v107)
000 - - intermittent

I did have a physical look for connectors on the unit in passenger foot well and found a loose one so I pushed this home firmly.

I'll run Vagcom again at weekend and check the others which are located in driver footwell according the workshop manual I have and I'll let you know.
