Hi
The problem is:
On my 2007 leon 1p 2.0 tdi fr, when i put the climate to warm, no matter the temperature, the drivers side blows cold air, the right is normal (not in uk). if i put it on hi, it goes warm
I put it on the vag-com and it said that the temperature sensor on the upper left part read 84 degrees Celcius. That meant that it couldnt blow hot if it was already hot. Probabliy a faulty sensor, right?
Anybody knows where this sensor is located? Upper left blower (drivers side)
Thanks

nobody knows this?
how about how can i dismantle the drivers side upper blower?
thanks

the sensor is on the lateral part of the tube that blows air. i took it out, it was covered in something... greasy, smelly :)
cleaned it, put it back in, checked vcds, it was showing correct temperature now, instead of 84 C
all good now
check if you can reach it from the exterior if you have problem on the passenger part, take off that triangle plastic that is accesible only when the door is open. maybe you are lucky and dont have to take out the glove box :)

Hi,

Can you elaborate on where this sensor is located? Ive got a problem that the drivers side will only blow hot air if the temperature is set to Hi.

Is the sensor in the air vent?

Thanks

Ben

Think ive found it, took the dash panel off under the light switch (where the OBD port is) and reach up the dash to the air pipe, where I found an L shaped looking sensor so I guess its that?

yes, probably, its about 4-5 cm long, 1 cm wide and has some wiring stuck into it
