I have a problem that my Cupra has had the dash conversion to fit a head unit and I have a feeling the controls to change the clock have been taken out. Ive had a look through my manual and that was no help as it seems to be from a Mk4 ibiza. I take it that with any 2002 manual they just chucked a Mk4 manual in there.

So my question is if indeed the controls have been cut out is there any other way of changing the clock maybe through VAG COM or something??

a mk4 manual? lol sounds like the previous owner just chucked it in there or something seat wouldnt do that

dont think you can wit vagcom, maybe though iv never tried

when u cut out the old stereo u do need to fix a new button somewhere which allows u to adjust the clock, sounds like they didnt bother.

When i did this conversion i put the clock reset switch on a wire and stuck it in behind the facia.

Might be worth pulling it off and seeing if its there.

Alternativly, if you can get enough radio signal then it will set itself if you leave the radio on while driving. Mine use to set itself when i was back home (glasgow) but down here (leamington) it doesnt, so i'm gonna have to rip it all out :'(
