Clunk Noise From Suspension

Just wondering if anyone else is hearing a loud clunk from their front suspension when going over ramps or hitting a pothole? It only seems to be on the passenger side and was windering is there anyone out there having the same issue?

hmmm when I had that in my Altea it was a coil spring broken. I'd ask your dealer and go out for a drive to simulate it with them. May be some thing adrift. In my case the guy knew instantly what it was.

We have just literally put our car into the Dealer to fix a rear windscreen washer hose issue, we told them that while they were there (and since its under warranty) there was a clunking noise from the front passenger side when going over humps, bumps and potholes etc.

They did a health check as part of the service and found that there were THREE Transportation Blocks which were left in the passenger side which should be removed by the dealer from a PDI check. This caused some damage to the car and the dealer has coughed up the cost - which is good!

Worth a check!
