Clunk when braking

most definately the arb drop link is worn the clunking your hearinig is the drop link being pushed against its fastening when suspension arm contracts under braking!!!!! YOU GET ME:D

i believe the drop links for the lcr are diffrent from the cupra because of the camber adjuster.. you could try the stealers or ebay if your car is lowerd then you will need the shorter drop links..
it is possible it could/maybee be the rubber in the top mount needs replacing?? both are easy jobs though and if it is either one of these, then would be best to replace both sides at same time...

Cars suspension is standard so will give the stealers a go!

I presume its a shock off job when changing the top mount rubbers?
Also is it worth changing the strut bearings whilst I'm at it? Or are these pretty sturdy?

if it was me while every thing is off might as well replace what you can!!! its not gonna hurt. or put some coilovers in!!!

get what you pay for mate!!! they start around the 200quid mark for half decent ones, but think you should look at around 100 quid a corner for better quality and a better ride!!

yes window regulators common problem seals go then start letting water in !! get it sorted while dry of you could be sitting in a paddleing pool soon:)
