I am getting what can only be described as a double cocking noise when changing gear and letting off the clutch. Basically, what i mean is, there is a "chick, chick" sound coming from the clutch when i shift up (rarely down) at low/medium revs, which is much more prevelant on a quick gear change, but also happens, sometimes just a single "chick" sounds, slower.
It sounds like someone is cocking a very small chamber of a gun lol, and what this turns into is the feel of the clutch being very "grabby" or "bitey" so you change gear, let off the clutch then there will be this very brief "grab" feeling followed by the clutch making this "chick chick" sound.
I have a stage 1 remap now which I think may be making it happen more offen when going slower, it only really seems to like solid/proper shifting OVER about 3-3500rpm. It just feels at lower revs the clutch is being very grabby, and in turn, is making these clicky noises and grabbyness and low rpms when shifting quicker, or sometimes more drawn out say in traffic.
It just feels like the clutch engagement is quite strong, it's not so much that the whole car jerks or judders, now way, it's just the sounds of the shifts up, the grabbyness despite smooth shifts and the fact it doesn't do it at higher RPMs
It seems to be when the revs drop to such an extent between the 1200 to 2800 mark, this is when it will be most prevelent with the double "chick" cocking sound and the slight grabby/tiny jerkyness.
And ideas what this could be? It has done it (and does do it) stock as well to be fair as i returned the car to stock with my Bluefin and yeah, it's basically just making me want to drive it a bit less economically and perhaps more aggresively lol which is fine most of the time but not always round town. I'm at 11000 ish miles now I doubt anything could be wearing out especially when my service went all perfectly clear last month.
