Hello,

The clutch pedal went to the floor whilst driving on my Cupra and had to have it towed to a garage. Initial response is the slave cylinder needs replacing. They said as this is located in gearbox, it would be best to change the clutch as well.

The car has done 140,000 miles and still on the original clutch. If it is worth while changing the clutch, what make should I go for?

Thanks

LEE69,

Where did you get the clutch and what make was it. What is a dmf?

Thanks

That's how mine started, then the following week it started slipping! Then the following week I was £900 lighter after having a new clutch and flywheel fitting along with slave and master cylinder!
