Coilover Advice

Hi, New to the scene, just bought a Leon Cupra 03 plate. Just wondering if any one can recommend coil overs that go low without ruining the ride too badly ?

Aps mate 410 quid great ride comfort and mine are wound to the bottom

As mentioned the AP coilovers are a popular option and the Weitec Hicon GT are also very good.

Kw get my vote there are cheeper options but you get what you pay for.

i have just bought a set of ap coilovers (not fitted yet) and the quality is spot on

They do have a Cupra R set which is more expensive

I have a relative in germany that works for JOM might see if he can get me some free coilovers if they do them for the LCR

I have just fitted the Weitec coilovers on my LCR. Yes they are a bit harsher but they are brilliant. Really has changed the handling of the car and now am able to adjust the height to my liking which at the moment is spot on for me

Just fitted today some Weitec Hicon GT's and H&R Front & Back ARB kit and it's transformed the car it sticks like poop to a blanket and feels superb, ride is identical to my KW V1's on my Mk5 Golf I had, Got all my stuff from Damian at DPM, He's a legend, it's James Damian! Thanks for all your help and thanks in advance for future purchases, here's a pic of how she's sitting now!

If you want to go this low you have no choice but to fit a front ARB and H&R is your best choice!

JOMS are a good stop gap but they do not weather well I had them for six months and look!! And I greased them, they are bare aluminium and will not last without covers, look away if you are squueemish!

So this time although the Weitecs are a far superior product I've made these to stop the corrosion!

Just to add I heard some good things about the Jamex stainless jobs from my mate with a mk4 golf, I'd personally speaking from experience, just wait that little longer to save for a premium kit like Weitec or KW, however I'm not sure what you have to spend?
