Coilover and anti-roll bar: what can i do??

Hello! I've buy a kw v1 kit, but everybody tell me that i must change the anti-roll bar because under 4cm of lowering, i will have problems. The solutions is to change the bar, but do you know another way? Thanks!

dont lower it that much that it catches the arb

Yes you can use shorter droplinks.

I personally think 40mm will be ok with standard drop links and bars its about 50mm where you have problems..... in my opinion.

I take it you have a normal LC and not a R? 40mm on a R is quite a bit.

As said with a 40mm drop you should be ok but adjustable drop links are also an option.

Thanks! If i fit this product, i don't need the antiroll bar? Or i must fit the bar too?

I'd say you need to make the droplinks shorter......and the V-maxx ones are longer

I bought those V-maxx ones and had to modify them as there longer than a standard droplink....and there only adjustable to make them even longer pushing the ARB even closer to the DS.

The V-Maxx drop links adjust from 11.5cm to 17cm so you'd need to check what length you need before ordering.

I have a 20vt 180cv Leon FR, year 2005. I will fit a KW V1 basic, lowering from -35mm to -65mm. What can i do to know the correct lenght?

It'll change depending on how far you lowering it and even then you'll still need to measure to see.

i bought adjustable droplinks and there the biggest pile of sh*t ever. As i type my car is in the air for the night ready for a whiteline arb in the morning.

I lowered my LC 50mm (Wietec)and had no issues with the drive shaft hitting the ARB as has Dione J.

Yeah the Whiteline ARBs are definately the best option.

Yeah it's one of those problems, some get away with it and some don't especially when lowering on the limit which is 50mm.
