I bought purple fog lights for my seat leon mk2 and there is a fault coming up on the dash. I think the fault is there with all coloured fogs but does anyone know of a way to clear it?

I think you can buy what they call error free bulbs mate seen them for people fitting led bulbs.

If they are LED's, they'll always throw an error. I did buy some resistors off ebay, but none of them fit and some had reviews saying they plain caught fire (which is believable cause they get really hot). In the ended I just bought tinted halogens.

Ya I had a look online and I couldn’t find any error free bulbs so I bought canbus convertors off Amazon to take away the error hopefully

I went on Amazon and bought Canbus convertors so hopefully they will clear the fault otherwise I’ll be look into getting a purple tint on the fog with a white LED
