Comfort Control Module???

COMFORT CONTROL MODULE. What is folks and was it an optional extra or would it be on my cupra as standard?

i think thats the climate control unit.

its just a black box but its not the climate control display unit. Wondered if it was the unit for the heated seats?

Dont think so. They talk about it all the time on uk mkiv's - I think it is basically a cross between your fuse box and the ecu for the car's electrics.

Say if you want to fit the comfort turn signals/ comfort flash box, or play with any of those sorts of things then you do it through the CCM. In the mk4 it is above the pedals

It controls the central locking options such as selective opening, global unlock on removing the key etc as well as things like the global windows control with the ignition key, alarm chirp etc etc
