Confirmation on this symbol that appeared on the dash.

Driving my 2018 CUPRA 300 4AWD yesterday, about 50mph and was exiting a bend. I had a symbol appear on the dash (similar to the image I've sketched below) for maybe a couple of seconds, accompanied by a tone. I've had the car for 3 months and have done about a 1000 miles in that time but not seen this before.
I've had a trawl around the net using appropriate search words but haven't found an exact match but the suggestions out there point to a radar alert.

Any thoughts please?

Could it be you were too close to the car infront? - see graphic in this post symbol 16 almost matches yours, and it comes with a
pretty loud tone.

Yes it is the front assist symbol.

Mine came up yesterday for the first time, but oddly no one was in front of me, but a man in a high Viz jacket was sitting on the kerb and I was about 1.5 metres from the kerb, having already seen him and moved out to give him space.
