Hi Guys,

I am seriously considering getting a Leon FR+ TDi as I currently own Leon Stylance 2.0TDi PD which is a stupendously good car, and only wanting to change to get some better kit and bigger kick :)

I have a few questions which I'd be grateful if those in the know could help answer:

1/ How good is the Sat Nav in the 2.2 media system? And does the phonebook display the caller name when someone rings, and does the display show the current radio station name when navigating? (Sorry, I know that's three questions in one!)

2/ I have seen this car advertised for as little as £19250 online, but wondering what is the best price people have got from the dealers (so I know how far to haggle)?

Think that's all I have really, grateful for any/all responses!

1. 2.2 is better than the 2.1 with full 7 digit postcode search
2. when a phone is connected the caller ID will be displayed in the MFD on the dashboard by the clocks
3. Display on the sat nav/MFD will display radio station ID, Sat nav directions, whats playing on External media device such as IPOD either individually simultaneously or mix of the two get to a dealer for a demo :)
4. price no idea sorry I bought an ex demo model but got 6k of the list price with 3k on the clock

ya Good for it :), but if you have the chance dont get the sat-nav option, cuz its really over priced, you can get a Pioneer F9310BT which is made for the Seat Leon's
http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/111/241/AVIC-F9310BT/index.html
it works way better than the kenwood and it has more options in it :), check it out :D

ive got a question, besides putting my footdown how do i know if its a FR+ or the fake FR's, is it just by the LED rear lights or what?

Not really sure, I wouldn't mind knowing this myself. I would say it's to do with the SatNav being there but that's a factory option so could have been fitted to the "fake" FR.

FR+ have 18" Ibera's and Xenons of course these can be added as options so only real difference you can see is the smaller brake disks.

At the traffic lights have the tape measure to hand and if the disks are 312 on the front and 253 on the rear its an FR+ TDi and 312 on the front and 272 on the rear an FR+ TSi simples :D

Or if you were going to go to the trouble of asking them to wind their window down to ask if they have the logo on their seats, you could just ask them if the car is an FR+ :) lol

yours is an FR same as mine

when the FR+ was introduced the sport was dropped from the line up

FR+ includes Sat Nav,Bluetooth, upgrade 18" alloys FR logo's deleted from seats and most importantly 170 ponies under the bonnet for the Diesel

New FR is an upgraded sport looks just like a real FR however that diesel engine only has 140 ponies

Lol cool, you sure do have allot of ponies well i do as well, hmm knew they introduced the 140bhp to fr range but didn't think the dropped the 170bhp though, well I think its cuz people Tuned there fr's over 200bhp and had problems with it so the figured let's give them 140bhp and if the decide to tune it the will be happy with 60bhp increase just a theory i guess lol

The 170 is still going along with the even faster 211 TSi ;) then the fake 122 TSi FR wanabee. Could of accepted a 1.8Tsi (which they have on the FR in Europe) 158Bhp as a warm hatch but 1.4..........

CR have had very few issues related to tuning the biggest issue recently has been encrypted ECU's that need removing and opening to upload software.
