Cordoba SX 2.0 16V 1999 - Engine Speed Sensor? WHERE?!

Hi all, hope you can help. VAG COM says I have intermitant engine speed sensor failure.
Where is this puppy and how easy is it to replace? Thanks...

tricky, but straight forward.

can't access it easily from above or below really!

jack the car up on axle stands, support the engine and remove the front engine mount.

I tend to support the engine with a block of wood with a trolley jack.

Found this on GSF online shop... "92581 - CRANKSH IMPULSE SENDER - CORDOBA - £24.50" Is this the same thing as crank/engine speed sensor guys?!? The search criteria is correct for the cordy.

Is there any possibility these work loose? Can I shimmy my hand down there and have a go? Dont fancy jacking the motor up and axle stands and all. I dont have the gear, or means to source it! Any ideas what a greasy garage would charge if I supplied the part? Cheers folks

its normally held in with one small bolt..wouldnt of thought it would of came loose
