Got a few photos of corrosion starting on my 07 SEAT LEON 2, one is definate, which is one of the wiper arms, the other i need your opinion on is if you think it is rust starting to get hold of the rear hatch door hinge brackets on the roof part of the car:(

On this one you can just see where water is sitting under the hinge bracket

Have to say I can hardly see anything based on those photos.

Your going to expect a little bit of corrison on any metal part that isn't covered/laquered etc. Happens to all cars.

Wouldn't worry too much

ummmm what, see the first one, nothing major, but the second one, what am i looking at, can't see anythjing at all

First one looks like contact corrosion from the spring on the hinmge, shouldn't happen that quickly. The others nothing visible. I would get the dealer to look at the first one, best thing that you can expect is that they change the parts for new one's

Many thanks guys, I didnt just want to go straight back to the main dealer if there wasnt that much to worry about, just makes me look silly for something trivial:blink:
The wiper arm i will go and get sorted out, as was said shouldnt be like that on a new car so soon, the area around the hinge brackets i will give them wipe and clean, then see what happens in a few weeks.

With the weather we've had recently i'm not at all surprised if it happened that quick. Look how quickly brake disks look rusty after a fall of rain. Same principle.

I wouldn't worry at all tbh mate, its just one of those things.

Where abouts do you live because if you live near or on the coast it will make stuff like that happen quicker due to the salt content
