1. GREEN PANEL FILTER , is it a must because ive hear alot of good things about them and better buying one of those instead of £165 on a corbonio

2.SPANISH STYLE STAMPEDPLATE can you screw them on like the current plates or does it have to be double sided stickie pads, if so wich ones are the best to use dont want them to fall off

3. DOG BONE MOUNT BUSHES UPGRADE, there about £18 i think, do they really make that much difference, are they easy to fit and is there good instructions to follow

just wanting to order the above this morning thanx :)

Re: dogbone mounts - I got a set of Prothane mounts from a friend who'd taken them off his Beetle.

They are easy to fit - the mount assembly comes off, and there's a bolt running through the bushes themselves; unscrew that bolt, pull the original bushes off the bolt, warm the new ones up in a bowl of hot water, then stick 'em on the bolt; re-tighten the bolt, and re-mount the assembly on the car.

When they're on, the steering will feel more solid, tighter and more direct, and I think it makes the car feel different in the way it accelerates. The steering wheel may vibrate slightly, too - this will probably settle down after they bed in on the car. Also, the engine noise inside the car increases - my wife hated it at first, but loves it now ;)

In answer to your question "do they make much difference"? - YES :D go for it, makes a helluva difference

Just crashed in on this post though a search for dog bone mounts.

I reckon it's about time I got some, as I've heard great things about 'em.

Fitting instructions seem straightforward.

My only question is - where do I get some?
