Couple of quickies...

First of....ive noticed that my cooling fans come on on start up (even today at -7 !!) and have done for the last few weeks....is this a underlying problem ?? Had a quick look on here,there some ibiza ref to it.

Second question...the air-con seems to go off around 2.5/2 degrees...is this to stop freezing pipes ??

Third thing...when i fold the mirrors back out the drivers unit goes past its proper resting place untill it gives off a loud click then returns to closed?? it willl do this untill i hold it firm....any ideas on this ??

your right on both front.

ie the fans shouldnt come on during start up, and yes the air con doesnt operate at lower temps.

Just to confirm that my air con also doesn't come on at low temps. Is standard on most cars.

When you say cooling fans, do you mean the ones inside the car to cool you ? or under your bonnet to cool your engine ?.

my cooling fans used to come on regularly. but never when started. when this happened to me my water pump was on its way out. not a mechanic or anyfinn but i would get that checked
