Hi has anybody had the same problem or have any idea what could be the fault. 2007 Seat Cupra 240. Had no problems with the car until last weekend when A. the interior lights stay on after unlocking the car. B. Turbo doesn't come on from start-up unless I stop and start the car again, this could just be my RaceChip box, I have reset that and it seems to be ok and the third fault. C was the heating inside the car is very weak as in not very hot. I doubt all three faults are linked but thought I would mention them, interior lights are my main problem at the moment :) Thanks

When you’re car is running and warm what does your temp gauge sit at? If it’s below 90 your heating won’t be great. You either need a new thermostat or worse case heater matrix. Not sure about tour other problems tho sorry.

Thanks. Normally at 90 or just below, we have had a 6-week speed limit in place here to 40 mph so it probably hasn't helped.. cheers, I will look at thermostat first then :)

Mine has a brand new thermostat init and gets upto operating temp in less then 10mins when driving if yours takes longer you have a issue buddy.

Just been for a 20 min drive, I noticed the temp was below 90 until 10 minute's into my drive I seen the gauges pop to 90 as if the thermostat popped open.. random but have you noticed if your gauge in moves up smoothly or jumps once up to temp.. etherway it hit 90 after 10 min.

It moves up really smoothly mate.when mine was going bad it would only really read 90 when parked up after my drive and when I drove sit at 70 or below. It definitely never jumped about tho.
Maybe it’s not the thermostat then causing your heater problem unfortunately might be something alittle harder to fix.
