Cracked coilover adjuster ring

Not sure what this piece is called so adjuster ring will do.

Noticed last night that both the rear ones were cracked at the grub screw, haven't checked the front yet due to the rain.

Can these rings be bought separately or is it new suspension time?

You must have been a bit OTT when tightening the grub screws
Was there a torque for them or just RFT, lol

I would have thought it would be a new set, or atleast a full strip down of this set to change out this piece, ie PITA

you can buy the adjuster rings seperate and are easy enough to fit
i know of one place that sell them which is

as i had to replace some on a mitsubishi GTO...
they are helpful aswell and will help you find which ones you need more than likely

other than them i dont know where else will sell them...

I called the supplier yesterday and i'm getting some new one posted out..... hopefully.

They weren't over tightened. I never lubed them so they expanded when they corroded and split.

Ordered new platforms today from C&R Enterprises £45 for all four delivered. The new ones will be getting coated before installing then checked regularly for rust

Weitec/KW. The platforms were totally corroded and crumbling. New composite ones fitted, coilovers refurbed and looking like new.

Do they feel any different, I would have thought they'd feel tighter now do to less movement

The rings had to be smashed off then the left of over threads had to chizelled out, pretty time consuming but at least everything is tip top.

Living right beside the sea isn't ideal.

I have some Weitecs and the Adjuster rings on the rear ones are cracked, What is the number of the guy you got new ones from mate? or contact details?

I went direct to KW for mine.

Your probably best to buy all 4 because the front will probably go at some point.
