Hello all :)

Names Craig, 24 years young and have a massive car problem, I mean hobby! :)

I've always been a VAG fan, starting with my very first car, a Mk2 Golf 1.8 carb, which a friend and I built.

A few years later and after many, many hours of work being put into it, for some stupid reason we sold it :(

I then had another Mk2 Golf, a Pug 106, Mk1 Clio, and then this hilarious handling daily diesel.

In the first few hours of owning it I decided it was slow and carried out a few modifications to the fuel pump for some extra ponies (in Tesco car park on the way home from picking it up lol)

I then went a bit crazy...

FMIC, 21psi of boost, exhaust and more fuel pump mods and uprated shocks all round.

After many months of thrashing and abuse it went French on me so I decided it was time for another VAG car!

I have always had a soft spot for the Cupra R so I went and picked up my new toy :)

Forge 008 now fitted, holds 21 PSI like a champ. Just need to get this exhaust rattle sorted and a new clutch and flywheel

nice car mate, love these in red

i just picked up my 04 LCR in artic grey 2 months ago, safe to say im loving it

Thanks again guys, i'm loving it too! :)

Yeah its flash red. I recommend waxing it as much as possible to protect it from fade. I do it whenever I get a chance, it does the colour wonders ;)

Also giving it an engine and gearbox oil change this week.

Looks excellent mate. Hope you're protecting the SRP with something?!

Love the Golf too mate but the Pug doesnt float my boat. Lol.

After a polish, I use Collinite 476 for paint protection, and Dodo Juice Fantastic Plastic for any trims. Between washes i use Dodo Juice Detailing Spray to keep it clean and protected as much as possible :)

Hi mate
Nice car! A lot better than that pile of putrid stinking garlic infested piece of pooh you had last! Lol
Shame about the clutch mate!
Did you know about it when you bought it? Those suckers ain't cheap....
Are you up rating it now it going in for replacement? Might make sense if it's 270 already (did you get a printout off the owner to prove) and you're looking at another remap soon two which will be stage 2 then if it's already got 270! Also think about the rods....
Great looking car mate! Keep it up!!!
Ak

It's an uprated clutch and OEM DMF off a friends S3, only a few months old and cost him £900!. He's just built a new engine his so he went for a stage 3 clutch.

The rest of the exhaust is next after the 3" DP is fitted then i'm looking to go Badger5 for stage 2.

Loving it so far :)

No rolling road print out from previous owner, although it definitely goes like stink now. My friends mk3 ibiza cupra stage 2 running 230hp has a hard time seeing through my dust :harhar:
