Thanks bud. Make sure you get ones with the BSAU markings, like the ones from Europl8 otherwise you might get fined for non legal plates
Small update Found a couple of things that need sorting.
First are the tyres. I was driving home from work on a damp evening, sitting around 35 in 4th, went to put the power down and found myself spinning the wheels when the boost came in. Oops!
Looking at getting a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. Any thoughts on these?
Secondly, I have been getting a rattle when on boost and a strong smell of petrol
Had a quick look yesterday and have found a couple of loose turbo/manifold bolts.
Plan is to rip it all off and replace the bolts, gasket and use some sort of locking washes.
Are these the correct part replacements?
058 145 540 (bolts)
06A 253 039 E (gasket)
With somthing like Nordlock anti-vibration washers to stop them vibrating loose.

Hope all of you had a good xmas and new year!
I decided to treat my girl with a few things and bought a whole load of cleaning and maintenance bits and bobs.
Weathers not been too great but I just booked some time off work and these turned up this morning so I thought I best start by changing the plugs.
New plugs (NGK 2667 BKR7EIX) gapped to .75mm
As I suspected the car is running a little rich, nothing a B5 map can't sort
All done...and bloody hell, what a difference correct plugs and gapping have made! Idles better, power is silky smooth and no more hesitation upon pulling off. Happy days

All ready to go, only applied a very thin amount of AF Tripple as I was in a hurry. Brilliant product!

It sounds quite subtle part throttle and makes a deep barking sound when giving it the beans. Although at the moment it's too quiet for me with the standard back box. I'm still trying to find a rear 3" section to give me more of a bwARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR POP POP RARRRRRRRRRRRRR Brrrrrrr badumnbadum pop pop bang RAAAAAAAA Flame AAAAAAAHH kind of thing

I've got a 3" turbo back blue flame on mine, and it's amazing how similar mine sounds to your impression lol!
