Crazy times

Got my Ibiza back in November of last year.. had some awesome times with it, drove it up to Alton towers, Paris Disneyland; the lot..

Then suddenly in January.. the bulb malfunction warning came on. I immediately stopped and checked all my lights.. everything.. but everything was fine.. Switched off engine and on again and the light went off! :S

Right.. then a couple of days later I indicate left, the light goes on again and suddenly the indicator 'ticking' starts acting like it's on speed! I stopped again and checked indicators.. this time left indicator wasn't working..

Anyhow.. the story goes that sometimes it works, then it doesn't... so i took it to the garage.. they kept it for 3 days and told me they had fixed the stalk.. probably some interference there.. as soon as I pick up car and turn left.. it plays up again!!!!

Drove straight around and took it back, they had it for another 3 days.. without fixing it. I had exams so I needed the car so I ignored the problem for a couple of weeks.

At this point, everytime I indicated left, nothing happened, front, side and rear indicators on the left weren't working at all..

They picked up the car on a Thursday and said they would finally fix it... Didn't hear back from them till Monday morning and was informed that they had ordered a new dashboard :O I didn't mind.. new stuff = free anyway... So i expected a call back.. but nothing!!
Phoned them this morning and they said the problem was not the dashboard, and that they were waiting from a reply from SEAT UK on what to do!

Is it me.. or does it seem like no one knows what this problem is?! They had stripped my car down to it's bones and ordered a new dash from spain.. but still not fixed!

On top of all this.. I need the car this week.. question of a courtesy car? I have to pay 10quid a day for insurance!! :O

I love that car.. but this is ruining it.. Any advice? At least on a courtesy car??

is it: 8001050F?
sorry to hear your having problems
id atleast nag your dealer for a courtsey car sounds like an electrical fault somwhere

think thats the main problem with new cars all run by computers and sensors, can be hard to fix even for the manufacture epsecialy if its somthing stupid like a fault with a computer chip

not much you can do apart from wait, and demand a courtsey car lol

edit: and if you do have to pay extra for insurance on a courtsey car id try and claim it back from seat or youe dealer

yeah it must be an electrical error.. don't really know any other details though!
Phoned up the dealer today at 12:30, told that services was busy and that they would call me back.. phoned them up at 15:00 again, same response.. and it's 16:13 now.. are they waiting till they close to contact me?! Dealership is and I quote:

''At a cost of two million pounds, the new flagship Bristol dealership is the largest dedicated SEAT premises in the UK and is fitted out with state of the art equipment and a 11 car showroom.''

Need I say more?
