I am going to do a stage 1 ecu remap, how many hp should I get more?
They only tell me + 40hp but I see people reaching even + 70hp

Depends on the fuel you are running.

In the UK where you can get 98/99 easily, 70 hp over the stock 280 isn't unrealistic. But elsewhere, if you are running 95 fuel, or they're not a good/reliable tuner, then +40hp over the stock 280 figures is unsurprising.

I will probably use 95 octane, so can you confirm that 40 hp is low for a stage 1?

The standard car on 95 fuel doesn't run at 280PS/276hp. Its probably the wrong side of 260 based on people in Ireland. So assuming a 70hp gain for stage 1, 330 is a good figure, but only looks like a 50hp gain over the official stock figure if you get my meaning.

However, even if its tuned to 95 fuel, its always better to run the good stuff on a tuned car if its being pushed regularly to give you that much more headroom.
