Cupra 290BE Bucket seat white trim cracked!

6 months and 4k and just noticed drivers seat has a crack on the white trim, base section where creased.

Any one else suffered this?

Will be going back to dealers..... arghhh

Some synthetic nylon rubbish!! I see they have changed to black carbon fibre look on the 300.

That looks more like a slash that crack... unfortunately I think the dealer will say its been slashed.

I had the same thing! Mine got replaced as it was under 6 months and 6000 miles old....

That's a seat from a 1960's Vauxhall Victor. Should have stumped up for alcantara.
Arghh just realised that's somebody's ass and not BR fabric!

Same issue here, today the car goes to the dealer for replacement under warranty.

Mine have done exactly the same thing in exactly the same place. Passenger side is slowly going the same way.

SEAT Derby passed it off as wear and tear and as it's outside of the 6 months / 6k miles they cover wear and tear, refused to do anything about it. I argued it wasn't acceptable for a car seat to split at all never mind at 18 months and 30k miles but didn't get anywhere.

Not really a problem while using them but it will look crap if I ever move the car on.

Also for reference my Cupra is a 15 plate 280

When you sit on the seat the material creases where the split is. Over time it goes from being just a crease to splitting. Nothing to do with getting in and out. Maybe a smaller bottom is required!

My passenger seat is creased in exactly the same place at the moment but it's worn thin and I've no doubt it'll split at some point.

Mine is just the same and has ripped out of the seat til handle at the top of the seat. No chance of getting it fixed in that spot I just traded the car in it such low quality

After a week, the same result, the upholstery does not fit the foam, and according to the dealership they can not do anything else there, the only solution they give me is to talk to customer service and wait for SEAT to give me one solution...
