Cupra Ateca - map update navi "high" , once more :-)

Hi!

Proud and satified new owner of a full equipped Curpa Ateca build 2019-07 - 2020 model with only km 24 000 on the clock. It's in the rare Velvet Red.

I have studied many of the threads regarding updates of the maps - and I have basically downloaded all files, 7-zip unpacked them directly on a 64 GB SD card - without any succes - so I will the forum if any is willing to help? I believe I have tried around 15 files, also ones for Skoda and VW.

At some point the maps was actually updated from 2019/2020 to 2021 - but at that point I had downloaded that many files so I had lost track of which one worked (sorry for that...) and I even managed to format the SD cards after installation, so - I got stucked so to say ....

According to Seat Sweden this car should NOT have mapcare. The persons on Ebay that normally sells SD cards with Map updates says they are not able to help. The unit works with full navigation without any SD card inserted.

A link to correct newer map update will be mhigly appreciated....

Note, I've re-edited the above since PCBBC implemented a method where you didn't need Obdeleven Pro / VCDS to change the traffic TMC code, they did that within the module. If you do have Obdeleven Pro / VCDS and you are taking the car abroad and want the RR solution, then use option a. Obviously...

Looking at your screen you have the unlimited navigation FeC ending in ee on your screen.

I suspect you are using a Mac and need to use CleanMyDrive... whatever in the resource. Mac's add hidden characters which cause the upload to stop dead. The clean routine takes the rubbish out and it will load up.
