Fair play to you with the blue I reckon with more bits tied in it will be awesome! Strut mounts etc are great additions.

ur wheels look better now tho, get a RR thread started.

Yeah i was well happy to get rid of those multi spokes as they are the worst wheels on the leon! happy with the vrs wheels atm but will get different ones later on once ive saved a few pence.

i should do really...got a few things lined up but need to sort out the photo uploading, is it a photobucket account i need??

proper kerfuffle with the screws on the back plate. they were so badly rusted the heads just fell apart when i tried to put the screwdriver on it i had to drill them out. then the screws i asked my mum to pick up while she was out were the wrong ones so i had to drive all the way to halfords with no plates on
all sorted out now tho and looking great

i attempted to fit my sub in the boot, i have had this 15" sub for years now but the box it was in is about 4 miles long, fine in my old mondeo not so good in the leon so i opted for a custom stealth box.

trial fit to make sure it fits in the space correctly

a quick trip to wickes for some wood, and some cutting later

and with the amp screwed on the back out of the way

now i just need to work out how to fix the panel to the car as it will have to sit out about 4 inches from the trim, im tempted to try and fiberglass it in and get a solid box but i have never used fiberglass before, and i have no idea how much space or cubic feet this sub will need to work properly or how to work it out correctly, it sounded epic in the box it was in.

I also still need to run the rca cable and remote lead from the head unit to the boot, and find a place for the switch that is out of sight.

That interior is different! Blue and black theme sounds good.

could always make a false floor, you can then screw 'L' brackets to the floor at the right angle then screw them to your stealth side panel or you could always cut the wood of the false floor out and use the floor for strength

i was going to do a big OTT install with fiberglass all up the back seats housing any number of speakers but the weight of the wood alone on the way back from wickes was quite noticeable, so now its just one bit of wood and the rest will be fiberglass if i can work out how to do it properly.
